| cptbuz (El Dorado Hills, CA) | Posted: Jul 05, 2005 - 20:48 ditto,ditto,ditto,ditto,ditto...I get more respect for these reviews everyday whafrog-heartless, especially the sax at the end. sitUboo-...this is just another example of where a proven artist gets a free ride to put out a really empty song. Claracat-...this song does absolutely nothing for me... Quite a pity, really, because it should be good. It just isn't. ChicoCyclist-...nothing compared to the early Dave. donitaann-...this one is just not growing on me. |
| whafrog | Posted: Jun 25, 2005 - 12:49 heartless, especially the sax at the end |
| sitUboo | Posted: Jun 22, 2005 - 08:53 sorry to say but to me this is just another example of where a proven artist gets a free ride to put out a really empty song... |
| Claracat | Posted: Jun 14, 2005 - 16:56 I usually quite like Dave Matthews Band, but this song does absolutely nothing for me. The idea behind it is nice, but the presentation seems bland, the sound not as full or as energetic as it can be. Quite a pity, really, because it should be good. It just isn't. |
| ChicoCyclist (Chico, CA) | Posted: Jun 14, 2005 - 16:54 Better than a lot of his recent stuff...but still nothing compared to the early Dave. Oh, crap! I'm sounding like those losers that lament the evolution of REM! |
| donitaann (Long Beach, CA) | Posted: Jun 07, 2005 - 15:55 Being that I am a DMB fan from way back, I really want to like this. I love the meaning and the thoughts behind it...But this one is just not growing on me. Even after hearing it two days in a row. |
| moshevelvul | Posted: Jun 07, 2005 - 15:54 jeez god, this is actually a little interesting.....it's almost like he hired other musicians....at least that guy isn't sawing away at his eeelectric violin througout the song...that makes me want to kill people. DM is a good guy, but his music is all set up to be as soul crippling boring as Sting. |
| heeb (Haarlem, The Netherlands) | Posted: Jun 07, 2005 - 15:54 I happened to officially mishear the lyrics as "You're my diatribe, ah". WTF is a diatribe? |
| Beastie (Rye, NY) | Posted: Jun 06, 2005 - 11:05 Most enjoyable. I hope we have DMB for a long time. |
| jcs (Vietnam) | Posted: Jun 06, 2005 - 10:58 Two thumbs up |
| Tomhisten | Posted: May 16, 2005 - 12:04 Nice groove! |
| ralphcanoe (Ohio's north coast) | Posted: May 16, 2005 - 09:05 A bit of a new sound for Dave? I'm not so sure.... |
| g-rod (Church of the Acceptance of Mortality) | Posted: May 09, 2005 - 08:21 DMB:RMX |
| ploafmaster (Richmond, VA) | Posted: May 09, 2005 - 08:19 Interesting...a bit different for DMB, but I still like it. |
| meatbee (behind the orange curtain) | Posted: May 09, 2005 - 08:18 I used to love DMB! This is repetitive and not very creative. |
