Nice evening... Mostly -8-s and a couple of clunkers...Also another  $100 spent at Amazon...
All I can add is "Thanks for the ride-!"... RP is a lovely, albeit expensive, pleasure...
It could be worse... I could be collecting single malts, single casks, vintage wines, beautiful women...
Instead, I have chosen song... This has the advantage of a pleasure enjoyed now and again and again...

OK, while your point is a good one, I think Bird deserves better.  This is first rate.  Actually, I think her voice is just OK; this is simply a great arrangement, a great song.  She's got a lot of edge to her music.  For someone with a small output, she is batting like 750 and is a truly remarkable artist in my opinion.

I know what you mean, and I don't put her in the same category as those other artists, but she arrived in a different era than those artists did - an era of music/media saturation where everything portable and fleeting.  Also, I'd be surprised if any great numbers of people remember anything by those other artists fifty years hence: forever is a pretty long time.

When I heard this song on radio paradise, I remebered that I heard it on House MD, but I didn' remember which episode, it used in season autopsy. This song is awesome, and very soft and calm, the lyrics and the song go hand in hand.
