But I ended up getting Jack White's latest album — totally in love. The one with the vulture sitting on his shoulder on the cover. It's crazy, but I hear the over-pedalled piano minor scale riffs in my sleep - it's become a brain obsession that I just can't shake. |

I can tell you about my buddy Scott As a mediocre musician, I really appreciate skill, when it isn't just skill for skill's sake (can't stand Satriani for example), and I really appreciate creativity. I think the WS seem to be trying to do something interesting, besides just selling records. But I'll have to spend more time listening to them to really judge. |

I dont mind hearing them, but yet to have purchased any of their albums. As a musician I would only say that all music has it's place. To understand the music is to know the writer alittle more than you did just before you heard it. Would you ever walk up to your child who gave you a drawing and say that sucks, or do you take into consideration the meaning? Are you people out there in the world more about format or content? |

Well I am about as far from a musician as you can get, tone deaf engineer, but I USED to agree with you. Subpar instrument playing and singing, but to catchy tunes.
