Clever.  Its not a question of Bluegrass origins.  It's a question of the band, Nickel Creek, and their influences.  My comment meant that the primary influence for Nickel Creek comes from American Bluegrass not from anything directly Celtic.  Check them out, in no self description of the band or its music will you find them saying that they drew on Celtic music.  Just sayin' yo. . .

I'd never heard them until Coyote FM (the local "innovative" radio station that caved in to the boring classic rock format) played them when they first released this CD. I used to listen to this while I was watering plants at the nursery and watching the sun rise. Beautiful images - great song.{#Sunny}

Perhaps. We (and a bunch of RPeeps who attended the Raisin' Hell in the Bluegrass meetup) saw them on their last show of their Farewell (For Now) tour, on October 21st, 2007.

I like the "For Now" bit of that.

Love this entire album. Nickel Creek are very talented. I'm proud of them for breaking up when they'd run out of material instead of milking their talent and inspiration beyond their limits.

Just seen them in Asheville NC...They where good but with there type of music I would have enjoyed it better if it was in a smaller venue. The large auditorium does them no justice.

Nice tune, just about the best I've heard from them, not as syrupy as their more standard stuff, and no question, these kids can flat out play.

But that is one godawful album cover.
