The rhythm, the energy, the raw sound, that sort of stuff reminded me of the Dead Milkmen. I'm not wild about all the retro retreads in contemporary music but I think these guys do it fairly well.

Hmm this might have something to do with the fact that Sony's trying to install a rootkit on your PC. Congratulations, a major corporation has just placed a trojan on your computer. The Dead 60's album is one of a few listed by the EFF as containing the malicious code. What's worse is that the Digital Millennium Copy-write Act might make it illegal for you to remove the rootkit. album is not bad... Reminds me of the clash.

however, the terrible copy scheme that sony/epic uses causes crashes to your PC and even my home system will sometimes choke on this disc....

hard to recommend. sorry dead 60's get a new lable.
