It sounds very similar and is obviously influenced by that tune and many others of that era, but it's a different riff. This kind of a groove is an homage to that era of music - they're even mimicking the keyboard and fuzz sounds of that time. They're not trying to deceive anyone - especially not the astute music detectives here. |
