BRMC has a very cool sound, but they lose their luster after a few songs.

The band name always gives me the wrong impression before I hear the tune. I expect something noisy and heavy, but this is good stuff! I'm beginning to warm up to why Bill enjoys them so much.

I agree completley. I have sent my message also. But I must note, I am a registered voter and I did not vote for any of new members of congress which now control the agenda!!!

Selling out? Radio friendly? I only wish I lived in a world where this sells like hotcakes and gets serious (terrestrial) radio play.

I think that was the first time i heard that song and the band name is long enough, i I'd have heard it before I would have remembered. Usually lyrics don't mean anything but I liked those. they were different and sounded heart-felt

This whole album is hardly a sellout. This song may be radio friendly, but the rest of the album has a different sound.

This is all IIRC, of course. For my part, I think Howl is BRMC's strongest record to date, and more of the tracks off it ought to be played. Maybe I just like intelligible lyrics.

Gotta agree - When I saw the name "Blak Rebel Motorcycle Club" pop up with the black "Howl" album cover I was expecting something akin to headbanging. But this is quite unexpected and quite good.

This has to be the most incomprehensible argument i've heard yet. When are people going to realize that it's not how 'hard' a song is, but the construction and balance of a song that really matters. In my mind, selling out is getting lazy.

Cool set. Nice play on the homophones "weight" and "wait" and then you wrap it up w/a "world" trifecta. You even got a similar sound w/the word "way" (way/wait/weight). Oh, and that's a play on weigh/way. You racked up some serious points there!

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Weight of the World
Elvis Costello - Waiting for the End of the World
World Party - Way Down Now

Try this one:
