They sound OK, but they don't sound as good as they look.

I normally do not like those Corrs' songs without that superb voice Andrea is creating, but this I like a lot. Nicely done!

This is good, when a violin sounds bad it's bad,but this is good.Take from a guy who started out on a violin and moved on to guitars....

Take the sound of the uilleann pipes from The Chieftains, carefully removing any celtic soul, add some eye candy for 14 year olds watching MTV, remove anyone who has enough soul to feature in The Commitments, mix with a marketing graduate targeting people who think craic is a drug, and voila!

The Corrs!

Well manufactured they are DEFINITELY not.

I find their music to squeaky-clean myself, but one thing is for sure: They are VERY talented and did make music together in their family way before they became famous - as many Irish, they played sessions in their local pubs just for fun and a pint.

I remember seeing them on Irish TV years ago, on a Christmas program, as total unknowns, and they just played along as natural as can be. They just happened to be all drop-dead gorgeous and thus were embraced by the corporate music treadmill. Kudos to them that it didn't corrupt them, result of their strong foundation in their family which keeps their heads in check.

Still don't like their music much...!

You know, I don't really buy into all that corporate-rock-whore-sell-out thing and the alleged bad effects it has on an artist's output. Maybe in the 70s and 80s, but not now.

If any more bands like the Corrs should be blessed with recording contracts, I might have to reconsider my point of view.

Interested to know what you mean by "completely manufactured"? considering all the members are brothers and sisters, so how can they be described as manufactured? (besides the parents of course)
