Yeah? There are three Don McLean tunes on the playlist; surprisingly, there aren't any from Peter, Paul, & Mary.  I don't think that latter has often been considered too "pop", though.  I don't think "pop" gets ignored here, especially if one considers that almost all rock music is "pop" anyhow.

I was never a big Motown fan in the 60's or 70's yet as time goes by, I really am beginning to appreciate the Temptations a lot more than I did in their heyday.  A solid 8.

As much as I LOVE Motown, I have to listen to the oldies station 24/7 at work so I'm not feeling this one.

Love the Temptations, and love this song - but the dancers - wow. They just seem to fit the music perfectly.

I love it when we can have fun here. {#Dancingbanana}

You know, I've come to have a fair amount of respect for your intellect, but that comment just makes no sense at all.

I don't think that's the same song.  The only thing I can find by The Blenders is "People Get Ready", definitely not it.

I remember hearing that a lot of Motown stuff was mixed using car speakers as monitors since most people (then) listened to the radio while driving around. Be nice to hear this remixed for better speakers.
