I love this song in ways I can't even express in words. Marc Broussard may have saved my life, and he didn't even know it.  I've heard other things by him, and he can still make me grin like a village idiot without a village.

Lovelovelove his music.

Could this really be 7 years old?

Saw him "accidentally," as an opening act.  When Bonnie Raitt came onstage, she said, "How can anyone follow that?",  and invited him to play with her band for the rest of the evening.

He's good, and I don't understand why he isn't more popular.

Love this song. If you haven't watched it, check out the version of Marc doing this acoustically at a radio show performance (via YouTube).

On behalf of white guys from south Louisiana, WTF? "The cover art makes him look like a total douche"? "Pretty good for a white boy"? Hey, look honey - those white boys can read, write and even sing. It's almost like they're human!

Would you think it appropriate to say that Nelson Mandela is a pretty good international diplomat for a black boy? Probably not.

On a less insulting note, I've often wondered if the lyric "boy named Cope" refers to Citizen Cope. Anybody?

I agree that this song is great and different from the rest of the album... But this is the only song on the album that I liked. I felt like this was the only song that had any feeling to it.

I guess this is an OK song. I can only give it a 4 because KFOG ruined for me ... they used to play it like every 15 minutes. So now I only listen to RP.
