Take your time and learn about Piazzolla! You'll see, that Yo Yo's interpretation is a very good one!

Sorry to correct you, but it is 'Suite Punta del Este', not 'Mar del Plata'. As Uruguayan, I feel in the obligation to correct this little confusion of "balneario".

I just recently saw that movie after not having seen it since it came out.  It's better than I remember.  Maybe seeing it more than once takes some of the initial confusion out of the story, since it's not straightforward.

But I get it confused with "The Fifth Element", which wasn't so good then and still isn't.

Easy to call this being eclectic,
but hard to call it RUBBISH,
when played on RP.

See the movie "The Tango Lesson" if you like this music.  This is part of the sound track.  A great movie, imo.

Great performance by Yo-Yo. I was very lucky to see Piazzolla live in the late 80's, shortly before the stroke that ended his career. It was one of those concerts where you walk out afterwards feeling like a changed person - it was music and a type of performance I'd never seen before.
