Ridiculous this terrible supersweet violin-coating over each and any song. No rythm, hardly any melody and this sickening "language". The whole SR-thing is a hoax. It can't be nothing else. How old might their fans (fans??? really???) be? Twelve? Just eight? Liking lullabies? Or are they even adults? Grannies maybe? I just can't figure it out. I read about them, downloaded their albums and was terrified. I deleted all! Then I read again, wondered if I had been ignorant and loaded the same albums again and gave them a real chance another time. Same thing: I could hardly stand a single song. This pussy-attitude. This whining. This childish melancholy. Please point out a single, just ONE (!) single song of quality and I take anything said back and download that song a third time for good! Really angry, Hoppipolla - tttzzzzzzzz....!!!!! Stingray You´re qualified for the "stupidest posting 2009". Take your medicine and leave us alone. |

| grant | Posted: Mar 23, 2006 - 22:35 yes - they are an acquired taste . . . sort of like sake, or an islay malt (Laphroaig), or certain types of sushi. but like many things that require some work - once your there - it's all the better. |

| Jezza (High Wycombe, UK) | Posted: Dec 08, 2005 - 10:53 I am quite frankly amazed by the lack of appreciation to a group that show such innovation and without a doubt produce the best live show I have seen in my time open your ears |
| discochuck (Manhattan Beach, CA) | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:28 The instrumentals were nice and the singing could have worked, but I think he needs a bit more direction on this one. Was he trying to imitate a Siren somehow? |

Should be a homocide of the singer!!! |

| shutter (You can't get here from there) | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:16 Good God! Look at the Edvard Munch painting, "The Scream' and that's the response most folks have when they hear this howl-fest. Those long, dark nights in Iceland do some mighty funky things to people, eh? Ouch |
| Pyro | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:16 We have a quorum. Kill the vocalist!! |
| Notelrac (Boston, MA) | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:14 Nails on a blackboard. No, wait -- a chainsaw cutting through the blackboard. No, wait -- someone's reaction to a chainsaw cutting through their nails on the blackboard... |

| Jacksonstat (Columbus OH) | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:12 Sounds like some kind of weird cat meowing in the background... quick, someone put it (and us) out of its (our) misery! |
| PeteGriff (Northeast Pennsyltucky) | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:12 I think somebody stepped on the cat's tail. |
| Pyro | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:12 I love the feel of Sigur Ros' stuff, but on this particular tune, the vocals are pretty bad. Kinda like a guy who's trying to sing too high for his range, and a in a very UNsupported way. I'm just sayin.... |
| rah | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:12 have to say - this isn't the track from this album that i'd have played. can we hear glosoli some time? |
| bmo (Canada) | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:12 This is a song about a siren that lured (Eric the Red and other) vikings to their deaths. Some say it was suicide. |
| Nuance (Winnipeg) | Posted: Nov 08, 2005 - 10:12 I swear he sings the same thing in every song. I bought one album not understanding any lyrics, only to find out they had made up the language for the album. I enjoy the music but his high voice singing the same thing over & over gets annoying. |
