Bagpipes rarely work as a rock instrument but in this case I think they did.
I’d like to hear more from the album/artists. Though I recognise that I may regret saying that.

This is terrific! I heard it for the first time this evening, and thanks to RealPlayer, got to hear it several times. Kind of a Celtic George Clinton.

Thanks, Bill and Rebecca!

Love it! The spoken-word part is like Wm S. Burroughs meets the Prairie Home Companion "Ketchup Advisory Board" guy.

Unfortunately, it's leaning towards the latter.
Sometimes sampled voice clips work, and then, there's this song.

This is the song that made me a fan of these guys (and one girl-Lisa) Too bad they've broken up after only two LPs. Thanks to whomever got this added!

This would be really good without those preposterous voice samples. When using a 'karaoke' or 'voice removal' filter like in XMMS, they disappear completely, but it makes the music sound weird too.

As a novelty song, I don't mind hearing this once in a while, but it would never be on heavy rotation.

Ashley went over the edge a few years back (drugs, bankruptsy, eratic behavior)...but he seems to have popped up again recently, tho' no saner. He has expressed a desire to run for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada.
