I'm a big fan of JJ, but with some of his albums I think he either got lazy or just banged out stuff to fulfill a contract. This is a lazy effort.

totally disagree - I have yet to hear a cohen cover that even attempts the irony that is so essential to almost all of his tunes, much less pulls if off

I just bought this CD and though most of the music is pretty good I'm a little disappointed in the production. It seems JJ's vocals are often overwhelmed by the instruments. That's not the case in this song however.
