I awoke the dawn
Saw horses growing out the lawn
ah...
ah...
I glimpsed a bat with butterfly wings
Oh, what marvelous things
ah...
ah...
Dark night, hold tight
And sleep tight my baby
Morning light shall burst bright
And keep us here safely
I followed a rabbit
Through rows of mermaid-entwined shrubbery
ah...
ah...
Oh, what marvelous things
But they are, they are, they are
Giving me the creeps
Dark night, hold tight
And sleep tight my baby
Morning light shall burst bright
And keep us here safely
Oh, lying in the sun
Everyday feeling all of
the magic in life and the wonder
Dark night, hold tight
And sleep tight my baby
Morning light shall burst bright
And keep us here safely
Morning light shall burst bright
And keep us here safely
Ah...
Ah...

I love it too...I ended up buying the album after hearing it once on this station. Some of Eisley's songs have really stuck in my head, and I like the rich production and kind of post-goth imagery. David |

| alisams | Posted: Apr 06, 2006 - 15:48 :puke: The "vocal acrobatics" really completely ruin this otherwise OK song. |

| CoYoT51 (Reims, FRANCE) | Posted: Feb 26, 2006 - 16:10 I didn't know this band. Nice discover, for me. Thx RP! Kiss from France Mick aka CoYoT51 |
| StickerSticker | Posted: Feb 26, 2006 - 15:47 This entire ablmum is pretty amazing. I don't think this is the best song on it, but its still a good one. |

I have to agree--I find her voice to be exceedingly annoying, maybe it's my speakers though (or lack thereof--i'm at work and it's just coming through the laptop.) |

| mwhip | Posted: Feb 21, 2006 - 13:03 Bill it's not new I think this single was released in 2003. But it's new to you!!! Great local Dallas band. Kind of weird to see them live when you are watching drinking a beer and half the group is not even 21. |

| Odyzzeuz (Austin, Texas) | Posted: Feb 21, 2006 - 12:59 I kindof dig the vocal acrobatics. |
| topherg87 (Austin, TX) | Posted: Feb 21, 2006 - 12:59 These girls grew up in a town 30 minutes away from mine. Pretty talented group. |
| ploafmaster (Richmond, VA) | Posted: Feb 21, 2006 - 12:58 I'm quickly realizing that I'm a big fan of the mellotron (sp?). This song is nice, but nothing to rock my socks off. |
| phillips (a beach near you) | Posted: Feb 21, 2006 - 12:56 sounds like sixpence none the richer... which i like. this is ok - not great, but enjoyable. |
| Mark1970 (Between the dim and the dark) | Posted: Feb 21, 2006 - 12:56 Great band! Love those harmonies..... entire CD is very good! |
