Strat through a Mesa Boogie. You'd have to fiddle with the Strat settings. Don't know if he needs or uses effects. Probably, but the Strat and Boogie are a good start.

It's a pickin style, rather than a strumming style.  Mark is more prevalent... if you watch Mark, you can actually see him picking at the strings.

Love them both... super great artists in my book.
