I worked in London during the summer of 2003 and got a mixed CD 'for free' in a music mag.  They did that there/then...fun and fab.
This was one of the tracks in an eclectic mix and, despite my self-administered resist-the-pop, I came to enjoy the horns, lyrics & vibe.  No bad edges for me.  Think I've got it all figured out; think my plan is safe from laughter.  (HAH!  That will be the day for me.)

Good background music, for when you want to kill the silence but don't want to be moved or engaged in the least by the music.

Maybe it's K.D. Lang after downing a glass of Alka-Seltzer. Whoever that is sure looks bilious.

Agreed, irritating scratchy voice on a par with Oasis's Liam

Solid song, solid artist.
Much needed after the James BLunt-sound-alike Powderfinger.

Old school Josh Rouse makes me smile. Lots of memories of this song.

Discovered this guy through Nashville-a wonderful country pop LP. And fun retro art cover.

I still cannot believe there is no Rouse from his finest album on RP, that being Dressed Up Like Nebraska.
