Well, the band was formed around 1980, so Moore was only about 22.  Of course, Jerry Garcia didn't comply with his band's name until 1995 or so.

I heard the first few bars of this song and immediately thought, "OOOO - Hollywood Nights by Bob Seger."  And then I remembered that he doesn't get played here.  I sorta like this song, but damn - not tonight.  I'll analyze it more later, maybe. Or I'll just listen to Juke Kartel.

To me, this song is the ultimate description of the devasting betrayal by my ex, I love it's raw energy and stark, dark lyrics. It helped carry me through a very dark time and I love this song.
