This morning on the radio I thought I heard them say that Bob Dylan is touring with the Raconteurs. I guess it's not like Jessica Simpson touring with Nirvana, but still. Seems odd. Maybe I just heard it wrong.

In the first few bars, I thought this was Dylan.

I have yet to hear something from Tom Petty that I don't like.

Doesn't Curious George go to the moon in one of his books?

Sort of an awkward metaphor, isn't it? Ankle deep? Or does he intend to compare Love to Crap? Not a bad tune, even though I thought it was Bob to start with. I wonder if this song is about the same girl "who's a good girl, loves her mama, loves Jesus, and America too ...she's a good girl, s'crazy 'bout Elvis, loves horses, and her boyfriend too..." Seems to be about a horse and a girl... and a spanking.
Cover looks like a Fantasy & Science Fiction magazine from the early 1960's.

Tom Petty = Most consistent pop songsmith of all time?

Seriously, I often have a hard time distinguishing between his new stuff and his old stuff. And that's a good thing.

I cannot WAIT to buy this record! I love everything I've heard off of it. I think I'll buy it tonight.

Yup. Another Tom Petty song from this album. Great. I'm tired of it already.

This album is getting too much airplay here...

How else will Bill know what we all like if he does not offer up a bit of a selection at first?
