I really like Nickel Creek but I wish Thile would leave a little more room on vocals for his band mates.

Look at the fingers on that guy, I'll bet he can cover 12 frets without moving his hands!

This guy probably makes David Grisman quietly cry himself to sleep at night.  Of course they are actually both great, but this is some pretty impressive mandolinin right here!

For too long Stingray has been lobbing his red large point hysterical, but for the most part harmless, BS bombs into the song comments.  But like another poster said "ROTFLMAO", me too!, Poozlepuddums...wonderful.

This tune came up on sat radio as I was crossing the Continental Divide last summer. Just after the giant VLA satellite antennae array and before Pie Town, New Mexico. Had to make this quick and dirty graphic in appreciation. Stingray, cowboy does not mean whatever you think it means, do a little research. Better yet, a little travel. It'll mellow you out, tout suite.

Saw him live in a small venue in Chicago, IL in 1989 when he was fronting Newgrass Revival. One of the most entertaining individuals I've seen. Very personable and approachable. Incredible musician to boot. Great stuff.

He comes to Merlefest every year (if you like music, you should go!) and covered Led Zeppelin II last year with the Waybacks and John Cowan and RS's Sticky Fingers this year with the Duhks and Emmylou Harris. What an awesome show!{#Cowboy}
