I understand that not all of you would like this kind of music. It IS great flowing music that works well in the background while you read, write, or engage in activities that consumes most of your attention. I think it would either rank very high or very low on scales - high disparities.

Fortunately not all German music is techno (Neither all techno seems to be German). There is some decent rock, punk, actually we have all kinds of music. It's not too popular outside Germany thou. Exceptions are "Autobahn" by Kraftwerk and "99 Lufballons" by Nena. And the Scorpions (many people don't know they are a German band. They are.). I can't remember any more at the moment....
