Wow, sometimes I feel like Bill is sneaking a peek at my record collection!

I just love this album. "People, People" is the standout track to me. It would really fit in here at RP (IMHO).

Don't forget his work with the James Gang - "Bang" and "Miami" or his work on Billy Cobham's "Spectrum."

Tommy Bolin was awesome.  The imagery of the lyrics in this tune is seductive.  I'm gonna hav e have "Tight Gin And Tonic" tonite.  What does that mean "Tight"?

First concert I ever saw was Tommy Bolin at the town auditorium in Sioux City.
Great add! If you can find a good copy of "The Grind" I would suggest a listen.

So cool that you got to see him in his hometown! He was a true original.

Yeah, "Teaser" is a good album, but Tommy really shone through on "Private Eyes". That guitar riff on "Bustin' Out for Rosie" is too much!

I've got "Bustin' Out for Rosie" and "Shake the Devil" uploaded to the LRC. Look for them and "dimple a Chad" (Florida voting reference) for them. I'm thinking of throwing "Post Toastee"'s hat into the LRC ring, too (just as soon as one of my four uploads eats it or gets added).

I was going to upload some Tommy Bolin on the LRC but noticed that most has been rejected. Don't know why after reading all the love given out here. Maybe I will try again.

One of the most original and talented Guitarist of the 70's. First heard him on Bill Cobham's Spectrum LP. His sound complimented Billy's distinctive drumming. What could have been!

Tommy Bolin was my life! He was the most talented person! Such a shame he had to OD, he was amazing. But, he knew it...

Now I just remember him as one of the most talented guitar players I've ever seen.

A man always destined to step into someone elses shoes;Joe Walsh in the James Gang, Ritchie Blackmore in Deep Purple. Shake The Devil was my favourite off of Private Eyes (I think!),but Teaser was a great album too. Very underrated.

Tommy Bolin is one of my favorite guitarists/songwriters. It's wonderful to hear his songs here.

I'm continually amazed at the selection and variety of music on RP. Hearing Savanna Woman just emphasizes how great this station is!
