Kind of sounds like a lamer version of Sublime to me, which isn't much.

Man, what a polarizer! I'm going with a 7; like that old-school organ sound.

If we're going to do rap, let's do some old-school stuff?

Liking this a little better. Maybe I'll upload an "alphabet rap" from Quannum and see if it makes it to the LRC.

there's also a very good cover of this track from Stereo Mcs that RP could/should put on the playlist...

I was a fan of rap and hip-hop in the 80s, but didn't really like where it devolved in the 90s. I cannot tolerate most of what passes for rap these days, but maybe it's because I'm an old man (You kids get off my lawn!). Anyway, heard this and looked in to Lyrics Born and the Quannum Projects a bit. Decent stuff.

This aspect, and the singer's chops are about the only things I like about this song. It's pretty mediocre in most other ways.

EDIT...I'm starting to like this more after another listening.

Still awesome. 9/10. You can see by looking at the rating that Radio Paradise does not have a very urban listener base. Stereo MC's remix highly recommended..

now that you mention it, there is a serious lack of real funk on RP, isn't there?

Edit: wow, this has got to change:

Sorry -- No artists found matching "parliament"

I like Lyrics Born well 'nuf.. He's a local boy and is great to see live, and his flow is real easy on my ears. But yeah I agree this mix gets a little repetitive. If you like the voice but not the song, check out LB's album "Same !@#$ Different Day". It's groovy!
