STRETCH OUT!{#Bananasplit}

"I Am What I Am" (Belew/Omega)

'cause some of you all are sittin' there right now,
Amen, an' tell if you had a necktie on yo', on now, right now,
A whirlwind would come along an' choke you to death,
That's how bad luck some of you all in...

I am what I am...now repeat this behind me:
'i am what I am and that is all I am and I am it'...
Yes, I know what you're sayin'...stretch out...oh, yes...stretch out

{#Zip-lip}  I do not find any part of this song enjoyable. I hope it ends soon before it lulls me to sleep, and not in a good way.  Usually I can find "something" I like , the melody, the lyrics, the beat...but in this case nope.

Like the time my co-worker excitedly emailed everyone that her college football playing brother (later a Patriot) won the "Dick Butt Kiss" award. (Dick Butkus award).

Yeah, someone else mentioned it in another song's comments. Do you think that pronunciation is just to avoid the embarrassment, or is it the real pronunciation in the region that the name comes from (sounds British?)??

What's it like when you have to say it on the phone over and over again, then spell it.

Like "my last name's Co-Burn, spelled C-O-C-K B-U-R-N".

Whadda hassle.

Kind of like a bottle of 7-up. Refreshing but not all that much too it.

And thusly, I give it a 7!
