Not only that, but the lick from "Blister in the Sun" goes up a third on the second note, whereas in this one the first and second notes are the same.

well I wrote this song and I can't for the life of me think how BLister in the Sun goes, i'll pop away to listen if I can find it online somewhere.

EDIT : Found the song and yeah there is a similarity, can't say i've ever heard that song it's in a bit of different genre than i've ever been into to be honest, good song though, different riff too but I can hear the similarity! nice find!
