Nice music. But does he do straight up rock and roll? Every Isaak song I hear he's moaning about lost love or broken hearts or cheating women or they did a bad bad thing.  Is this the sum total of his catalogue? Maybe he can do self-therapy on his own time.

I've long held that this is/was the best song on this disk ...

That's his former guitarist, James Wilsey, who gave Chris' earlier stuff its distinctive sound.

It's a Gibson archtop—I don't know the model. Funny thing is that this album features him mostly on a Fender Strat, which is why he sounds so much like Knopfler, who played a Strat almost exclusively in his early years.

Thanks for this. Good song. Reminds of... yes, and in exactly the right tone...

He does seem to have quite a few songs about love gone wrong but I like him anyway.

Is it just me or does Chris Isaak make you want to go back in time and relive/redo moments of your life?

Just bought Mr. Isaak's Christmas album. Does a real good job on The Christmas Song, 'Have yourself...'

This is an 8 btw.
