Give him a break, it's only been 19 years. Some people need longer time to adjust than others.

OMG... what a shame you don't like this - and that you automatically call it crap. Personally, I love her voice, and like the music very much. And it's a great start to my morning.

original Czechoslovakian lyrics—

Na Čiernom Koni
Ráno vždy keď padne prvá rosa,
točím sa a tancujem bosá,
ráno vždy keď padne prvá rosa,
točím sa a tancujem bosá.

Z tmavej noci ušijem si šaty,
nebude mi zima prikryjú ma vlasy,
z tmavej noci ušijem si šaty,
nebude mi zima prikryjú ma vlasy.

Na čiernom koni,
noc je plná vôní...

Keď ma k sebe privolá môj milý,
cestou k nemu povedú ma lesné víly,
keď ma k sebe privolá môj milý,
cestou k nemu povedú ma lesné víly.

Unesení spolu kúzlom noci,
objavíme v sebe silu božskej moci,
unesení spolu kúzlom noci,
objavíme v sebe silu božskej moci.

Na čiernom koni,
noc je plná vôní...

translated to English—

Na Čiernom Koni
Always at the morning when the first dew falls
I spin and dance barefooted
Always at the morning when the first dew falls
I spin and dance barefooted

I needle clothes from the dark night
I wont´t feel cold, my hair will cover me
I needle clothes from the dark night
I wont´t feel cold, my hair will cover me

On the black horse,
The night is full of fragrance

If my dear calls me to him
A woody fairy leads me through the way
If my dear calls me to him
A woody fairy leads me through the way

Kidnapped together with the magic of the night
We discover in ourselves strenght like God´s power
Kidnapped together with the magic of the night
We discover in ourselves strenght like God´s power

On the black horse,
The night is full of fragrance

I guess I'm going through a fiddle-phase.  This song makes me want to lift up my skirts and bust a move or two. (And even in my own eyes, that image is pretty horrifying...) Like this song, though - don't understand a single word, but the music, the vocal, and the rhythm convey all I need to know that I like it. {#Sunny}

I love all sorts of fusion music. According to Wikipedia, Jana is from Slovakia (in fact, it says she was Miss Slovakia 1996!), and this song seems to have Indian stylings, combined with Western blues/jazz fiddle. Very cool.
