as i had already given the song a 7. What? they don't know what they would rate this song? Now, that the song played entirely, i should have waited and given it a 9 which i did! Loneliness is Fine is a very well written song with a wonderful quality to it!

Digging this!  About a minute into it I went for the good headphones and it's even better now!  The guitar riff is sweet, and the vocals have a steely edge to them, like his voice is just about to break.

This is, to me, kind of reminiscent of Vibrolux and/or Stabbing Westward. Same driving beat with that high-low octave bass and thought-provoking lyrics. I like it a lot.

Basically he doesn't like it I guess.
Calypsus' comment reminds me of a game called "Le cadavre exquis"
" it's a game/creation system invented by the surrealist group:
you write a word, you hide it and somebody else write another word, hide it etc... at the end you have a full sentence" (
wordreference.com)

I think "The Exquisite Corpse" game started off as a drawing on a long sheet of paper. One person would draw a head, fold the paper to hide the segment and send it to the next, who drew the chest, until you had an entire person - then revealed to the players. Poet Andrei Codrescu runs a website literary magazine with the same name. Was there a song in here somewhere? Sorry, lost in digression.
This rocks.

I woke up today, and I played my guitar,
And I didn't have to turn it down for you.

You're always acting like I should be somebody else,
What if that someone else turns out to not love you?

Feels like freedom is my only lover now.
Feels like loneliness, and loneliness is fine.

Feels like freedom is my only lover now.
Feels like loneliness, and loneliness is fine.
