I've heard that in Bali, the ugly, feral dogs that roam free around the island are thought of as a balance to the exquisite natural beauty of the place. That's how I feel about Led Zep on Radio Paradise.

Not my fave Zep song and a little too overplayed.  Really never dug the tropical/Latin break, either.

Just love this, really takes me back.  Their next album was to be a return to heavy hitting rawk.  Sigh ... if only it had happened...

What no LOTR references? Gave it a 7, probably mostly for nostalgic reasons.

Hope that's not an automatic reaction when you don't like something. Go to the PSD instead. You'll thank me for the tip. I am still cringing thinking about punch myself in that manner.

Bonzo battering the latin tattoos like a lucky black country haddock, utterly brilliant!

I think it's important to avoid sweeping generalisations, so I will simply say that this is the worst song ever in the history of music.

much bile in the comments, but the song stays well above a 7 on the total ratings. Seen some less "hated" tunes with lower ratings.
 edit: (as seen in the song following this tonight Gorillaz — Demon Days which only gets a 6.5 or so. I rate both at a solid 8)

Anyone who hears that guitar solo and then proceeds to rate this less than a 9 is living in a world I don't understand.

 Hmmm... perhaps your not cut out for this whole Rock and Roll thing. You can find Lawrence Welk down the hall, stay to the right (it's the door with the EXIT sign above it and the Amboy Dukes album covers full of bullet holes nailed to it ) Why of course you have a right to your own opinion, but not your own facts...{#Beat}

He was stating opinions, not asserting that any of them were facts.  Being tired of hearing Led Zeppelin after all these years, does not disqualify someone from being "cut out for this whole Rock and Roll thing".  I believe there are more choices than just Led Zeppelin and Lawrence Welk - at least in my universe.  This song's pretty good - even today.

Shows that Zep could handle just about anything they tried. Also shows their blues band heart. The bossa  nova spin-off is incredible.

Love this song, and this album. So much better overall than the prior album Presence. This was showing a whole new direction for the band and it was fresh and different. They could not record the same old rock or they would have been typecasted, and

I have never heard this claim before today.  Every Zep fan I ever knew associates this album with the anticipated tour, and then with grief and mourning.  Seemed like days between the deaths of John Bonham, John Lennon, and Bob Marley.

Led Zeppelin's been all over the map:  LZ 1 and 2 gut-level rock, 3 (a folk music album!), 4 (Zoso) and Houses of the Holy mysticism, all the way to Presence and this ... dare I say it? ... pop music effort.

Is this what happens to us as we grow older?
