This is the first time I've ever heard it. Hope it's the last.

"Steady chug".  Good description and definitely the best feature of the song.

Another side note; this particular song is really not that bad, but this album on the whole is whiny suck.

Away from all those Coldplay haters, Bill keeps on playing! Maybe you should think about, why. And the song is rated with a 7. For me i like more their older stuff.
I think, some people see or hear the name "coldplay" and everything of them is bad. Mute your button , if you have one!!

funny.  on our first date I took my wife to a Coldplay show because It seemed like...familiar/safe/neutral thing to do.  I didn't think of it as retread until you pointed it out, but that's it!
this is pretty ok though, I think

First time hearing this.  I had felt the other tunes on this new disc were predictable, less listenable than the previous disc.  This selection is getting there for me.  Nice hook.  I agree with the others, riskier is okay, sometimes.  But not to the point of weird.

Yep. I was just thinking how this is the first Coldplay song I've heard that doesn't sound almost exactly like another one. Not that I don't like their music BUT....a little diversification is never really a bad thing. I think it's about time, after what - 3, 4 albums?
