Victor Jara Manifiesto

This song of the musician Victor Jara, i dedicated to all members of Calexico, Joey Burns, John Convertino, Paul Niehaus, Jacob Valenzuela, Martin Wenk, Volker Zander, who had the presence of mind, inspiration, talent and daring, performing the great musical work, the album "Carried To Dust" and all the meaning that goes with it.
And if there are values that I preserve and respect in life is courage, authenticity and human sense of human beings who do not give up their values and feelings and not allow themselves to intimidate, subjugate and dispose of its human condition, sometimes putting at risk the most precious thing there is, life itself. These are the Elected.
It's out there, many "gentlemen", who think themselves lords and masters of the world,  that instrumentalize fear, insecurity, chaos theory, to refer people to your interests and try make the story backwards in reverse to developments and achievements in human history. The most precious thing there exist,  is the Human.  Each Person. Each citizen. Without the contribution of people, these "masters" are nothing.
You need to create wealth. It's true. But the wealth must be redistributed and reinvested to society, for the good of the whole community, and not concentrated in the hands of usurers. Each and every one citizen is the most important and it is this concern which must always be on the table that has the responsibility to represent them in an organized society. by calypsus_1
