I'd rather hear this than the Bob Marley that followed it tonight. People bitch about AD/DC only playing three chords. They're two chords ahead of Bob and his buddies.

And as an aside, I guess I'm not cosmopolitan enough, since I know a girly boy when I see one, and it has nothing to do with sexism or homophobia. Maybe if I'd pull my panties into a tighter twist I'd understand the "correct" viewpoint. {#Think}

I have been here over a year now and I have to agree.  Just realize you are in the minority.  There is plenty of eclectic, soulful and skillful hard rock and metal out there, at least we get a taste of it here.  But a lot of "high brow" open-minded music "afficianados" here will immediately label just about anything heavy or country-influenced as crap.  Their loss.

 And be prepared to get all kinds of hate for calling girly boys "girly boys".  There are some hyper-sensitive folks around here that think that means you hate gay people, drive a pickup, chew tobacco and want George W. to be your grandpa.

Agreed, even though I'm not particularly a fan of their (recent) work.  I've been listening to RP now for about 1 month and don't believe I've ever heard AC/DC until now.  Representation of a wide range of musical genres is a good thing here on RP.  Kudos!

I think that's because the three chords they know don't lend themselves to ballads.  They know how to change the order of those three chords and lay them over the exact same drumming in every song pretty well...  but not quite sure they could write a ballad that way.
