Mickey Rourke's moment ... every bit as powerful as De Niro in Raging Bull (which I thought was a masterpiece). And I applauded Sean Penn's nod to Rourke during Penn's acceptance speech for Milk. Those two knew ... better than anyone in the room, or any of the millions watching, who deserved to be up there. This song (during the closing credits) captures the spirit of the movie nicely. |
