I'm much more a fan of girl singers than guys - go figure.  But Colin achieves such passion and a quality of desperation that so fits his lyrics.  Awesome stuff.

Certainly the best album I've heard this (or many a ) year. It's prog/folk and rock. A magnificent combination.

So much going on in there for repeated listens - it just gets better.

Bought 'Her Majesty' and 'Picaresque'. Wish I hadn't bothered. Mediocre pap.

Love this song...so sad. You must read the lyrics.

Just downloaded this and I'm really liking it. It's much better to listen to from start to finish. This is the last track on the record and a lovely way to wrap it up. I'm going to see them in July and really looking forward to hearing the new songs performed live. These guys just keep getting better and better.

The melody, rythm and tempo, at least for big bits of this, sound a LOT like Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb":
There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.

Apart from that, it doesn't do much for me.

Mock me if you must, but when this came on again today, I was pleasantly surprised to find I was enjoying it thoroughly and wondering why I didn't have this album already.

But then again, I always got a sick thrill from chewing foil.  (No, not really.)

I have listened through this album a few times, and it doesn't resonate with me like the last one does, but usually these guys have to grow on me.
