Hold on, Babalooie!  I thought F*ing songs were meant to be played while one F*s.  If so, then this is a fine example!  Does it follow that if someone does/does not like F*ing songs ...

It's not the distribution of the ratings, in this case - it's the comment. Gleefully, remorselessly hateful - with profanity.  I'm sure my rating distribution is nothing to write home about, but at least I don't go through a particular artist's playlist and methodically post the same hateful, juvenile slam on every single song by that artist.  To me, that equals "troll."

It wasn't the rating. It was the TONE.  I"ve given my share of "1" ratings (most of which I don't post), and everyone is entitled to their opinions. Using abusive language to state an opinion is, in my opinion, TROLL.  sirdroseph, I have no excuse for you, but I love you anyway. {#Lol}

Not always a fan of hers, but I just had a delicious Indian lunch, and this seems like the sonic equivalent of a good curry - rich and full, some contrast, more than the sum of its parts.

Sounds a bit like Portishead in parts. In case that's not obvious, that's a Good Thing(tm). I don't think she's trying to sound like Portishead, my brain just has to compare it to a song I've heard before. Maybe if I hear this enough, I'll say Portishead sounds like Vienna Teng. :-)

To me, this is rather un-ordinary, and I love it.  It certainly fits in with the mood Bill has created, of layers of powerful female vocals with varying flavors.  Even Tori Amos's cover of a Nirvana song fits well in this set.  {#Meditate}{#Sunny}
