An interesting band. I've heard them kick ass. But a steady stream of these kinds of arrangements and that voice would be... draining.

Would have been the perfect voice for any one of those insect movies.  I happen to like the "Bee Movie" as a match for this guy's voice, but prefer Seinfeld.

I'm kind of in love with this band due to their similarities to Smashing Pumpkins... I mean, the music's also fantastic, but they evoke a sort of strange nostalgia for me because of the aforementioned relativities.

I think in personal relationships, that's a safe rule to live by.  Probably a recipe for a dreary life.  But on a comment board, it is absolutely the opposite.  This is a really tame forum.   If you think it is bad here, then don't venture far, you'll die.  Try a political board.   Forget it.

@ Cynaera... you definitely traded up.  We have dogs, lots of dogs... 7 right now, and we've had 12 in our home at one point.  My wife and I run a rescue program called Pet Adoption Network and we're always taking in fosters.  We currently have 3 fosters and 4 of our own, with 20 dogs total listed on our website... we're a small rescue group that has between 4 to 7 foster families working with us.
When you talk about comparing a bunch of kitties with a troubled human you are so right... much easier with animals in my opinion.
Always love to read your posts by the way!
Take care and keep up the kitty love!

And it's not as bad as it sounds - they mostly get along, all are fixed, and some are just fat and happy and sleep a lot. It's an arrangement I can handle. I was married to a guy who had various addictions (pot, cocaine, alcohol, loose women, speed—driving fast, living fast— and danger—hanging off the top of an unfinished 200-foot microwave tower by one arm and one leg with no safety harness.) He was more trouble, work, anguish, expense and frustration than a hundred cats, so I think I traded up. {#Whistle}

What I admire about this band is the almost teen-aged-sounding vocal belying such deep lyrics. Don't be fooled. They sound like Hanson, but the words are much more ominous and deceptive. They're not what they seem. Gawd, I love that.
