The song provides its own summary:

"At first I find it funny but now it's just annoying"

On the other hand, this could be sung in a foreign language and it would still be just as cool.

I know what you mean.  The vocals remind me a little of The Association (i.e. "Along Comes Mary").

I'm glad Bill keeps this in the playlist despite its somewhat low-ish rating (5.9 at time of writing this). SFA are a great band and this is a grower, as is the whole album it's taken from. I have just re-discovered "Hey Venus" as well after not listening to it a lot when it came out. I really hope SFA will stay around for a while.

A bizarre album—there's this gem and an awful lot of stuff that's reminiscent of the self-indulgent hippie discs of the late '60s. Strong stomach and equally strong sense of the absurd required.

If Radio Paradise played songs like this all the time, I'd have to find another station to listen to.   I mean, geez, it was bad enough as is - did they really have to go on and on about it?

I'm sorry if you liked it (and yes, that can be read two ways {#Wink})
