![]() The Fall (2009) [ larger cover art ] |
In your message you said
You were going to bed
But I'm not done with the night
So I stayed up and read
But your words in my head
Got me mixed up so I turned out the light
And I don't know how to slow it down
My mind's racing from chasing pirates
Now an ambulance screams
While the silliest things
(Are) flopping around in my brain
And I try not to dream
Up impossible schemes
(That) swim around, wanna drown me insane
And I don't know how to slow it down
Oh my mind's racing from chasing pirates
And I don't know how to slow it down
Oh my mind's racing from chasing pirates
My mind's racing from chasing pirates
My mind's racing from chasing pirates

| jonnydreaming (Maryland) | Posted: Oct 26, 2010 - 19:01 A 7. I don't know what one of the previous posters is talking about. This is only the second time I've heard a song from Norah Jones' new album on RP, and it's been out for a while. I'd hardly call it overplayed. In fact I'd say hearing Norah Jones on RP is a relatively rare event, speaking as someone who listens for 3 to 5 hours a day. |

| calypsus_1 | Posted: Sep 05, 2010 - 13:14 I understand how difficult it is to manipulate a library of songs with thousands of entries, the criteria and the strategy of the radio station (that an overall assessment is fantastic!), but would not be too much to ask that from time to time, be remembered that some songs belong to the imaginary of all or nearly all, and which marked an epoch. For example the song "In The Summertime" (1970). Because we are in summer. Because bring me good memories. I personally always pleased to hear this song a few times each year that passes. Because this song has withstood the ravages of time. And need not be a masterpiece... |

| Cynaera (South of Neanderthal) | Posted: Jun 12, 2010 - 11:26 I love Norah Jones when she does the mellow stuff, but I adore her in El Madmo when she does stuff like "Rock Your Balls Off" and "Carlo," neither of which is RP-appropriate... *sigh* ![]() |

I think that most of the songs aren't piano-driven but instead are guitar/beat driven may be what she was referring to. That voice, smooth as silk as usual. |
