Thanks, Bill, for turning me on to this band ... although it seems I was asleep "5 years ago and 5,000 miles away" when this was released.  Oh well, better late than never.

I really like this song. It's got some really interesting sounds going on, and it's especially impressive at high volume!

I saw them in October at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival. What a great show! Guy Garvey really knows how to work the crowd.

It was much too short. That was a great afternoon of music with The Low Anthem, Dr. John, DeVotchka and Elbow all on the same stage.

...Gasp! ...No! ...This can't be...

...ought I just to let it pass?

.....I mean, really, it's no big deal, right?

.......the song was just winding down into everlasting regret with a horn playing Summertime...

.........and it would have faded out in a few seconds anyway...

...........and after all, that ending probably does go on a bit too long anyway...

......but...        but......

*choke*

{#Fever}

Bill, I've never heard you talk over the ending of a song before. Is this one of those cosmic whimpers, that foretell the beginning of the end? of everything? {#Cry}

I've seen a few songs from the new album were already uploaded to the LRC, hope Bill & Rebecca accept them. as it's a quietly brilliant album (IMO).

By far the best album of the last few years. Wonderful melodies, sophisticated arrangements, soul and passion all in harness together with a great and highly individual vocal performance.
