It looks like this one's been killed, but anyway: She raised 1.2million dollars on kickstarter but wants musicians to play for free when she comes to town.

Everything that could go wrong with progressive rock has gone wrong with this track—and the androgynous voice isn't helping.

Yes! And Amanda F. Palmer is an amazing performer. I'd love to hear "Map of Tasmania" on RP.   {#Tongue-out}

In the three years I've been listening to Radio Paradise this is officially the first song I've hated.
A resounding 1 from me.

Very nice to have Tori Amos follow Amanda Palmer. Radio Paradise is revealing their love of romance and intrigue.

The interplay of comments between April 22, 2010 and June is so hysterically funny, I can't quite believe it.  I don't even know how to put them in one place, but if someone could cut and paste the whole "sold a piano/sold a baby" exchange, it would make my entire year. Thank you, to all who participated in it - you're the kind of folks with whom I need to populate my life...  {#Lol}{#Group-hug}

I try to be as accepting as I can of world music.  There's only one kind I don't like:  Chinese Opera.  It sounds like an abomination to me.

This, on the other hand, is kinda awesome.  Kudos to her for being so frakking awesome.  I hope to be as awesome as her, someday.

what is the trainspotting song that the intro of this is ripping off completely?

(EDIT) — oh nevermind i just found it... its 'Sing' by Blur...so superior. bill should play this sometimes.

Refer to the work of Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer's previous collaboration and her theatrical work. More of a case of the over earnest theatre student than an attempt at recapturing youth - although why anyone would try to recapture youth instead of scraping it off their shoe as a survivable misstep is a mystery to me.
