Hello Ween - what's up, Cynaerann? Trying to teach me a lesson? In journalism, maybe? Relax, Ann-Mom - don't take stuff too serious! Neither my comments on music, nor my silence to affectionate PM's! I know you love me. You said it repeatedly, taking cover behind the police-chief in you village.

Mr. "trained journalist" - please shut up now. You're breaking every rule of journalism (the first being "Never make personal judgements  regarding the subject about which you are writing.")  Of course, you already knew that, and you're not posting in the capacity of "journalist" when you post here.  Still, you risk losing credibility as a trained journalist when you write things like the above. If I had read your comment, not knowing that you are a professional, I would immediately discount you as a valid source for any information, musical or otherwise.

Also - remember that the various boards send "spores" to other boards. A journalist with savvy would never jeopardize his/her credibility by stooping to drop a snide, grammatical and punctuation-incorrect comment in a well-populated forum.

I think she's very talented and her (Official) video for Spark was superb, imo.
But still, it's a good thing we're all different... just what RP caters for!

She was way more popular in Germany than in Scotland before she got one or two international "hits" that put her on the map.

Nice segue from Summer's Cauldron! That song goes right into another (Grass) on the record, so I felt a bump coming, but it was actually very smooth.

Amy Macdonald : RiR 1 by *cer3al

Amy Macdonald @ Rock in Rio - Lisboa, May 29th 2010

——————————————————————————————————————————

Amy MacDonald - Mr Rock & Roll, Live Lisbon (2010)

Amy MacDonald, Scottish female singer - Mr Rock And Roll (Live At Rock In Rio Lisboa 29-05-2010).

" Amy, 22 years old, great stage presence, excelent voice, sobriety, personality and at the same time, sympathy with the public.
Amy may in future become a great artist, natural talent, and having a rare thing these days, that is to get onstage live, the same performance, in fact even better than the recorded disk.
I hope she to continue working to correct, true to itself but without making concessions to ease, and not be dazzled by the first success, which is always momentary and passes in an instant. There are around another 10 or twenty "Amy's" ready and willing to occupy a place in the Sun...
The band members accompanying the Amy in live performances this summer of 2010, are young, but are very dedicated, very committed, very good performers and can form a single block, together with Amy.
It is notable positive development and the progression from first to second album, more mature and prepared, I think. "
