''contender for best drummer in Canada'' ?? WTF! He will have to wait for Neil Peart to expire.

One would think.  It's just that it was the only place in the entire song that it happens, even when they repeat the phrase in all other places. I don't hear that dramatic drop in dynamics in any other part and there's no counterpoint to it at all from any of the other players.  It just leaves a big hole in the rhythm for an awkward moment...

But agreed that it's hard to believe it's that it's that nobody noticed...  then again, once in a while mistakes slip through...

I'm with you. First time I heard it I was split between "Good for them," and "I wish this wasn't in a commercial."

Oh, and the video is pretty great.

Very much an ELO vibe with the cello intro.

BTW, love the Max Headroom icon.  Do you appreciate the juxtaposition, Max Headroom is Matt Frewer, who is a Canuck (albeit born in DC) as are the New Pornographers (allowing Neko Case to be an honourary Canuck)?

{#Eh} {#Stupid} ...Ahhh yes, of course ha ha ha, that's exactly what I was trying to illustrate. I was hoping that someone would pick up on that Max Headroom/Neko Case connection.....well spotted {#Clap}. Bye now, I must be off .......................{#Motor}
