Took a trip to Jamaica in 79 mid Clash Talking Heads and Ramones. OOOOOO Gregory Isaacs met our spiky selves with Night Nurse  one night in Negril.. Still brings it all back.
The man was magic

Amazing rhythm. Anyone who trashes it doesn't understand this man's influence on Jamaican music and how many subsequent artists have 'ridden dis riddim' to a chart topper.

Saw him 10 years later live in Jamaica. He showed up at 6 o´clock in the morning! Crazy Jamaica! Nice song by the way!
