| stargazer1 (Poway, CA) | Posted: Feb 02, 2013 - 21:18 This reminds me of Oregon (the group, not the state). I like their more straight-ahead style. |

| kojiroh (Istanbul, Turkey) | Posted: Nov 12, 2012 - 03:30 I very much like it, but I think it lasts a little bit longer than it should. |

| WonderLizard (2,755.46 mi. due east of Paradise) | Posted: Sep 10, 2012 - 05:33 Great drum work. |
| Nerubo (Denver, CO) | Posted: Aug 09, 2012 - 18:12 Bonobo usually has songs with a nice Jazz overtone mixed in. Here the squawky jazz runs riot, and goes horribly awry. Gack. |
| WayUpNorth | Posted: Jul 09, 2012 - 07:40 Love it! |
| drsteevo (Location Location) | Posted: Jun 07, 2012 - 14:22 Reminds me of Branford Marsalis during the Dream of the Blue Turtles tour. |
| bentonian (Longmont, CO) | Posted: Apr 25, 2012 - 09:36 Is this being played by bonobos? |
| WMSE_Jules | Posted: Mar 24, 2012 - 16:23 Bonobo sweet sounds! |
| Snoopy2 (Earth) | Posted: Feb 01, 2012 - 18:35 Snazzy....very snazzy, ear therapy |

Yes. Because prior to pink floyd the word 'animals' was seldom employed. |
| Catalytic (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) | Posted: Dec 20, 2011 - 13:26 This kind of jazz always has me imagining the sound studio separating the musicians and having each one play a different tune entirely and then mashing the tracks together... in other words, random crap that has me reaching for the off switch. |
| unclehud (300 feet above the planet) | Posted: Nov 30, 2011 - 06:12 WOW! In a GREAT way. (Although he so very obviously ripped off Pink Floyd for the song title.) |
| Decoy (Milliway's, the Restaurant at the End of the Universe) | Posted: Nov 30, 2011 - 06:08 sounds like an instrumental John Martyn. |
| Tony0600 (Hampshire, UK) | Posted: Nov 30, 2011 - 06:07 MUTE |
| baddog8it (Vinyl Suburbia, MO) | Posted: Sep 16, 2011 - 14:48 Just like a lot of jazz, the sax solos sound like a beginner running their fingers up and down the keys randomly... |
| sirdroseph (Yes) | Posted: Aug 27, 2011 - 12:57 Reminds me of Coltrane. |
| shutter (You can't get here from there) | Posted: Aug 16, 2011 - 06:07 Mebbe it's just me, but if you squint your ears a bit some of this track has a bit of a Cinematic Orchestra feel to it. Could be I just need better speakers. Good tune nonetheless. |
| fredriley (Nottingham, UK) | Posted: Jun 14, 2011 - 04:50 I'd love to know where the cover photo was taken as it looks so familiar to me, as someone who's walked the Highlands of Scotland for a couple of decades. It's definitely a Scots pine in the foreground, and the background looks like a classic glen loch. There's a larger picture in the background of Bonobo's website which I'm kicking myself for not recognising - it'll come to me later, I'm sure. Interestingly, to me at least, according to the Wikipedia page Bonobo is just one guy working with other musicians on an 'as and when' basis. |
| Groogrux69 (Auburn, CA) | Posted: May 13, 2011 - 14:08 Good music for bedroom gymnastics |
| denbear (Denver, Colorado) | Posted: Feb 22, 2011 - 20:34 I own Dial M for Monkey. I guess I'll be owning this one too soon. Very nice. I heard a couple of cuts from this release, but this one really clinches it for me. They've really evolved nicely. |

| Mkern | Posted: Jan 22, 2011 - 14:12 This sounds like a 90% copy of Cinematic Orchestra. Still nice though. |
| shutter (You can't get here from there) | Posted: Jan 11, 2011 - 07:24 Kinda Oy Va Voy-ish in a good way. I like it. |

The drumming, as usual, is outstanding. I saw Bonobo play live this year at a festival. It was great to see him drift to the back of the stage playing bass and letting his musical chums do their thing. He had a smile on his face throughout. Great stuff. Good choice Mr P - loving this as well at 22.23 on a cold Tuesday night..... |
