Reminds me quite a bit of Ramsay Midwood, but nowhere near as good and Way lost toward the end. Ramsay needs some airtime here! (no connection, just like his music)

As a (very amateur) landscape photographer, I do like the cover photo which is highly atmospheric. It's quite difficult to compose an interesting picture in misty woods but this one draws the eye into it and sets an atmosphere. Song's ok, but the photo's more interesting, IMO.

Reminiscent of Tracy Chapman with a little fuller sound...

Horrifically godawful piece of crap. Just the perfect mix of whining, disjointed and repetitive. A "1", and I don't give those out.

depressing cover art; nice tune however.

I really love this song, the way it sounds.  But the apology section he cut in between the little party melody is too much like an afterthought.  Hey guys, my wife is headed over here, switch over to that contrite section I wrote.  OK, she's gone.  Where were we?

Sounds like a melody from the frolic sixties-seventies era....like it.

35, 3 kids, 2 in soccer (no minivan, currently cramming kids in the back of a Pontiac Vibe).
Love David Grey, love Gomez, love this.  ;)

Ben is my favorite Gomez sound and his solo album is really growing on me. And this great news today from Gomez:

Our unbelievably great new album, Whatever's On Your Mind, will be released in the UK (Eat Sleep) and Europe on June 6th, Australia (Shock) on June 10th, and in North America (ATO) and the rest of the world on June 21st.  There'll be a flurry of information and treats coming your way in the months leading up to the release, from behind-the-scenes looks at the making of the album to exclusive deluxe pre-orders, videos, tour announcements and everything in between.

Not caring for his voice. It sounds overly strained, the way pop country artists way overdo the twang.
