That's an old "Magic Eye" valve on the cover. Used to help HAMs tune the radios...I think it's EM34? Something like that...I want one.

There should not be a stress-shift from the first to the second syllable due to the suffix "al", causing the dipthong oo-eh.  There should never be a dipthong in the middle of a word, unless preceded by a fricative (see Jones, et al), hence CIR-cut-əl is the correct pronunciation.

This band really seems to be taking off.  Seem to be at peak powers on this one.  Pretty darned GOOD, and dig the intriguing sonic structure.  Circuital, indeed!

Dude, ( Yes, DUDE!) stop trying to sound like you know what you're talking about. It's the pitch that is FF-like, not the reverb.

When your head explodes, that will have been too much reverb. Until then, it is just right!

Never saw them "live" but did catch them on the telly doing a small intimate set...unfortunately, I didnt think that it came off that well, especially the vocals.

As mentioned to Rolling Stone magazine by James, the album cover depicting the Magic eye tube was inspired by his own experience of getting Lasik eye surgery, saying: "The whole experience of it is so fucked up, it's somebody slicing your eyeball open and shooting you with a laser." It also inspired James to write the song "Victory Dance."
