One of my all-time favorite 80s songs. And the best INXS song ever. Saw them at the tiny Bayou in DC after their next album, the unfairly neglected "the Swing." One of the best live shows I've ever seen - and I've seen quite a few.

Yeah.  Kick was hitting big just as I was starting to buy my own cassettes (remember those?) and becoming a musician.  I think I wore out a few copies of that album.  What a great band.  Wish I could have seen them live.  Them and Oingo Boingo.

An all time classic track of a band coming into their own. And this album is more interesting than people may know from the hits — it's the bridge album that shows INXS' roots as an Australian pub band and their promise of becoming a huge international success. There are some quirky, charming tracks on this album that one might no expect from INXS if they only know the hits. I'm just waiting for a proper remaster of this and "The Swing" (INXS' best album IMO).

This still rocks. The band might have been on its way out by the time Hutchence accidentally killed himself, but INXS was perfect for its niche.
