It is reminiscent during the "whoa" parts, but the rest of the song is pretty different.  Everyone hears different things, though, and Siouxsee was pretty inspirational to later artists.

I don't know that song specifically, but I was definitely thinking Siouxsie and the Banshees, with vocals about an octave lower than Siouxsie Sioux.

They've been around for several years, with occasional changes in personnel; they're really good live, too.  They just released a new album.
