be there when I need a shoulder
when I need a heart
when I need to feel the beat
beat of my heart
let the road give me
.. to know it's the way
said I know it's the way
don't worry ..
don't worry too much
there'll be another day
you see some things still remaining
a lot of changing
don't dare stop changing
sometimes you shine
sometimes you fall
sometimes you know
sometimes you need
someone to hold
something that's real
never alone
until you can feel
the life in your soul
be there when I need a stranger
when I need the beating of my heart
beating of danger
take you the way you want to go
I don't want to show you
you can find your own way
find your own way
there's nothing written down
nothing here to tell you
nothing to tell you to turn around
I see you hating
don't want to see you hating
sometimes you shine
sometimes you fall
sometimes you know
nothing at all
want to see you shine, shine, shine like I know you can
want to see you shine, shine, shine like I know I am
sometimes you shine
sometimes you fall
sometimes you know
sometimes you need
someone to hold
something that's real
never alone
until we can feel
life in our soul
want to see you shine, shine, shine like I know you can
want to see you shine, shine, shine like I know I am
when I need a heart
when I need to feel the beat

Wow. Stunning space imagery with stunning music. Kinda like how iTunes visualizer makes you "see" the music through its algorithms and reminisce about that acid trip 20 years ago when you had the "a-ha" moment of yes, yes you can see music ;-) I love Younger Brother but would never have known about this video without Bill's suggestion on the air. Gratitude for posting/sharing/enlightening. |
| Diamond_Dog (Round Equatorial Pound) | Posted: Feb 18, 2013 - 18:28 Thanks Bill for the information to check out the time lapse video of the ISS in orbit |
| unclehud (now 50 feet above the planet in Boston) | Posted: Feb 18, 2013 - 18:15 OK, I should probably buy these guys' music. This album cover art is an obvious nod to Abbey Road and their other one on RP (I'll look it up in a minute) reminds me of Wish You Were Here even though it isn't as blatant an echo. I've liked everything I've heard by them — and you can bet I've only heard them here; who else plays these guys? (Buying through the RP 'buy' linky thing.) |

| jt1 | Posted: Jan 27, 2013 - 14:22 Liked the intro, not completely won over by the rest of the song. I think I must have missed the transition from the intro...it felt like the end of one track and the start of another to me. I'll have to pay more attention next time. |

| debobasu (Crossroads of LIFE!) | Posted: Aug 08, 2012 - 13:19 With regards to this album and younger brother, I found that the first album was much better... There were more instrumental arrangements and more compelling and unique compositions, what I like to call soundscapes. This album seems to try to shift to a more pop sound, it has too much vocal work from this off-key and grating nobody... Worthy attempt at mainstream music, but it's not for you Younger Brother |
| jnesser | Posted: Aug 01, 2012 - 15:27 Bought this album and I love it more every time I listen to it. I wish it wasn't so difficult to find their other albums. |
| socalhol (Seattle) | Posted: Aug 01, 2012 - 15:23 Mmmmmnn, if they are sweet notes & beats being repeated, I do not mind repetition.... ![]() |
| Dahlia_Gumbo (San Francisco) | Posted: Jul 10, 2012 - 09:52 I like the sentiment in the song, but low marks for repetition. |
| clive369 (Windsor, UK) | Posted: Jul 04, 2012 - 16:06 Good tune from a great album, Vaccine. Good find, RP. Never heard it being played anywhere else (and it's a British band!) & now listen to it all the time. |
| Hasan | Posted: Jul 01, 2012 - 05:05 I tend to want to give this a 9 for that wonderful eerie intro, but then back it off to a 7 for the rest of the song for not living up to the beginning. |

| kingart (Brooklyn NY) | Posted: Feb 15, 2012 - 15:45 Sometimes album covers should come with explanations. That's a cool tune. It's a 7. A more melodic Coldplay. |
| socalhol (Seattle) | Posted: Feb 15, 2012 - 15:44 6 —-> 8 Mostly because I have New Order /Joy Division on the brain today with the unearthing of those master recordings! The music at the beginning & in the background of this song reminds me of New Order >> and that's a GOOD THING! |
