Well, now I understand the comparisons between Ms. Adele and the late Ms. Winehouse.  Like them both -- sassy and confident, yes?

First time hearing this. and I'm really liking it.  Really like Adele - including her funkier songs like this one and the one with the Raconteurs is why I come to RP - an incredibly eclectic mix.  Keep it up Bill and Rebecca.

OMG - Elvis and Hidden Charms.  Awesome

{#Lol}No dice, they like them and there is nothing you can do about it!{#Lol} I actually have given up on them, the PSD was nice, but the regular stream will not go through my work so I can't even use it. No matter, there are plenty of really good internet radio stations out there if you take the time to search them out. KEXP outta Seattle if you like College Indie, WUSC outta Columbia SC and WRUW outta Cleveland if you like really eclectic all genres without having to hear the same 10 groups inordinately represented ala Adele, Band of Horses, Black Keys the same 2 Iggy Pop songs over and over.....

This is the first time I have heard this particular song of Adele's. This song's punchy rhythm has really got me captivated.

Pretty good, I would never have thought this was Adele.

Why is it I like the "B" side of her first single (AKA - this song) better than anything on 21?

Here's hoping the ex-Boyfriend thing, as good as it was, is done with and she gets back into songs like this.

Here's hoping she doesn't need another bad boyfriend to make a second record this good.

As an aside, who's the hard-working drummer?

What's interesting about this artist is that she's also big in the school yards with today's youth.

Listening to this song is giving me goosebumps.  She's so talented...hope she continues on this track and doesn't mess up her life like so many artists do. (Amy Winehouse).  Not to speak ill of the dead, but Amy Winehouse didn't have quite the talent that Adele does IMO.

That's an exceptionally accurate statement.

Give Adele the life experience and a few decades to mature her voice and sound, and she could become an artist that people will be talking about in the way people talk about Emmylou Harris and other great and influential female vocalists.

Too bad Amy Winehouse couldn't escape her personal demons, she's another that would go into that category.

The music and tempo are certainly different for Adele - I like it. . .
